South Atlanta Practical Shooting Club

South Atlanta Practical Shooting Club has the distinction of being the longest running USPSA indoor club in the Georgia Section. We have been running weekly 2-stage fun shoots and monthly 3-stage USPSA Level 1 Matches since 1990.
Our next USPSA-approved match (2 or 3 stages including classifier) is scheduled be held on the second Tuesday of the month. Shooting starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. Contact Clint VanHoy at 678-230-6831. All other Tuesdays, please join us for a 2 or 3 stage ‘fun shoot’ match.
REGISTRATION: 6:00 until 7:00 PM.
LOCATION: Autrey’s Armory, located in the Lee Center on Highway 314 in Fayetteville, Georgia. We are 1.2 miles north of Fayette Pavilion and about nine miles south of Hartsfield International Airport. Our address is: 116 Bethea Road, Suite 118 Fayetteville, GA 30214.
Featuring TWO 25-yard 6-position bays (one rifle-rated), clean, well-lit and ventilated, as well as a full service gun store and gun smith. Store Phone: 770-719-2454
ENTRY FEES: $14 general entry fee, $12 SAPSC members, $25 ($22 members) family rate and juniors under 18 shoot for free.
Membership Special: Join USPSA ($40) or SAPSC ($30) and shoot that night for $10.00, join both and you shoot that night for free!!!!! New Shooters (never shot a USPSA match before) shoot free in their first match.
Club membership includes discounted weekly rates as well as entry into the annual end of season gala event. More members-only benefits coming in 2014.
MATCH RESULTS: Results are emailed out within a day after the match and also uploaded to the local match results area of the members’ page of uspsa.org. We have the electronic scoring results out of Practiscore that show combined results from the matches, which you won’t be able to find at USPSA. If you would like to receive the emails with scores, register with our Google Group.

EQUIPMENT: Any safe serviceable handgun, .355 or larger. Ammo must meet 165,000 power factor to score major, 125,000 to score minor. (Production division scored minor regardless of major power factor.) Holster and leather must pass retention test. MINIMUM ROUNDS: We recommend you bring 100 rounds.
COURSES OF FIRE: ONE CLASSIFIER STAGE WILL BE OFFERED. There will be one to two additional nationals-quality courses for your enjoyment.
AWARDS: Match Winner, 1st in class, High Division, New Shooter and High Lady.
Awards will be in the form of undying admiration from your fellow shooters. If you really want one, Certificates are available, suitable for framing.
SAFETY: No alcohol, cold range, no loaded weapons except at the direction of a Range Officer. When not shooting, gun remains in holster, magazine out, hammer down on an empty chamber. EYE AND EAR PROTECTION ARE A CONDITION OF ENTRY.
