Hi folks. We weren’t told until the afternoon before the match, but Cool Springs has moved their match up a week this month to Sunday, December 20th. They always put on a good show, so come on out and shoot one of the last Georgia Section USPSA matches for 2009!
Cool Springs is Shooting TOMORROW, Dec 20th
December 19th, 2009Surprise: There WILL be a January 2010 South River Match!
December 19th, 2009Hi folks.
Oh yes there WILL be a USPSA match in January 2010 at South River Gun Club!
Even though Cindy and I will be out of town on January 2nd & 3rd, John Golson has graciously stepped up and volunteered his services as guest match director to put on a January SRGC match!
More details will be forthcoming. In the meantime, please join us in expressing our thanks to John for his efforts. We’re sure it will be a great match.
Sincerely,
Bill & Cindy Noyes

No South River Match in December
December 4th, 2009There will not be a regular December South River Gun Club IPSC match this month. Larry Turner is having an operation on his foot so putting together a 7-stage match is the last thing on his mind right now; please join us in wishing Larry all the best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Our next regular match will be the first sunday in January, 2010. John Golson will be filling in as guest match director.
We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and thank you for coming out to play with us this year!
Sincerely,
Bill & Cindy Noyes

South River November 2009 USPSA Match Stages
October 30th, 2009Please join us this weekend for our November pistol match. There will be 6 stages designed by Larry Turner for your enjoyment plus the classifier CM 03-02 Six Chickens. The round count for the match is approximately 171.
We really need your help with setup on Saturday, Oct 31st at around 9:30 a.m. if you can spare a couple of hours. This is one of those strange times when the last day of this month is a saturday, and the match day is the first day of the next month on a sunday. So we’ll be setting up on Saturday, Oct 31st, and shooting on Sunday, Nov 1st!
The more people that help, the earlier we can all be finished. We will buy your lunch and give you a coupon worth $10 toward the match the next day. You will also be entered in our yearly drawing that includes a GLOCK Pistol Certificate and a membership to South River Gun Club! We will be finalizing set up on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. We would appreciate each squad helping to tear down the stage they finish on and for help with any of the stages that have no squad finish on them. Thanks very much to those of you that continue to help us each month. We know who you are and we appreciate your help!
If you can help with setup, please email Larry Turner at ‘turnerover @comcast.net’. We need to confirm enough help for setting up the match before Saturday ,Oct 31st.
Good Shooting!

Welcome to the 2009 USPSA Area 6 Multi-Gun Championship. Over the next three days, you will test yourself against some of the best practical shooters in the United States and beyond. We know you have worked hard in preparation for the match and that the competition will be intense. We have assembled stages that we hope you will find to be both demanding and enjoyable.
By participating in this sport, you are making a contribution to its advancement. Anyone who has participated in practical shooting for even a few years is well aware of the tremendous number of aftermarket products that are available to make our guns faster, more accurate, and easier to handle. Many of the vendors and craftsmen of our sport have made a decision to sponsor this match and others like it. Please remember, when you purchase products and services from our sponsors, you are not only expressing your appreciation for their support, you are also helping them to support our future matches. I hope you will visit our vendor area and personally thank each of them while you are here.
This match would not be possible without the generous contributions of the staff and volunteers. The staff of RO’s, CRO’s, Stats Officers, and support people all donate hundreds of hours of their time and effort to be part of this Championship match and others like it. Please make an effort to thank the staff at every opportunity.
We wish you the best of luck and hope that you enjoy the match.

Cool Springs Schedule - Oops!
September 27th, 2009Well I don’t know how I did it, but I managed to show that Cools Springs was having their September match on Saturday instead of their regular day of Sunday. I understand several people came out Saturday for a match that wasn’t there, and for that, I apologize. Please join Cool Springs at their next regularly scheduled Sunday match.
Sincerely,
Bill Noyes
