South River July USPSA Match – July 8th

June 21st, 2012

Please join us on July 8th for our monthly USPSA match! Summer hours are in effect to beat the heat! Registration opens at 8 am and shooting starts at 9 am!

In addition to a USPSA MATCH we will be hosting a SHOTGUN SIDE MATCH .. This is a benefit side match for Adam Reames and his son David who was severely injured due to a motorcycle accident several weeks ago .. Please come out and join us bring your shotgun, birdshot only PLEASE!! We will remain after the Club match for all who want to shoot it .. It will be GREAT FUN for an even GREATER CAUSE .. We will also have a RUGER 22 Pistol that was donated to raffle off as well. There will be a small payback for the shooters to keep it interesting and the rest of the proceeds will go to Adam and his family. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Thank you and we will see you on the range – Pat, Kathleen & Kaci Cochran

Bring at least 200 rounds for the USPSA match.

We need your help with setup on Saturday, July 7th at 9:30 a.m. The first 10 helpers that are at the range by 9:30am when setup begins and stay until setup is complete will SHOOT THE MATCH FOR FREE the next day. If you can’t make it by 9:30am or can’t stay until setup is complete, we will give you a coupon worth $10 toward the match the next day. The more people that help, the earlier we can all be finished. We will also buy your lunch. You will be entered in our yearly drawing for a GLOCK Pistol Certificate! We will be finalizing set up on Sunday morning at 7:30 am. It is also very important that all members of each squad stay to help tear down the stage they finish on and for help with any of the stages that have no squad finishing on them. Thanks very much to those of you that continue to assist us each month. We know who you are and we appreciate your help!

If you can lend a hand with setup, please email Larry Turner at turnerover@comcast.net. We need to confirm enough help for setting up the match before Saturday morning. Please be aware if we can’t get enough people for setup, then we can’t put on the match.

Due to policy changes at South River Gun Club, all competitors are asked to park at the Training pit/RV parking area at the top of the hill. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing.

Good Shooting!
