South River June 2011 USPSA Match

Please join us on June 5th for our monthly (when other things don’t get in the way :) ) USPSA match! We need to make sure we will have enough set-up help for the match, so if you can help, please email Larry Turner at turnerover@comcast.net .

WE WILL BE STARTING SUMMER HOURS THIS MONTH TO HELP AVOID SOME OF THE HEAT!! FIRST SHOT ON SUNDAY WILL BE AT 9:00 AM, REGISTRATION OPENS AT 8:30AM.


The round count is 143 for the match and we will have 5 Larry Turner stages plus the classifier CM 06-03 Can You Count? Stage descriptions will be available at www.georgiaipsc.com.

South River March USPSA Match March 13th

Please join us on March 13th for our March match. This is our second match of the year and we look forward to seeing you there! There will be 5 super fun stages designed by Larry Turner for your enjoyment plus the classifier CM99-10 Times Two. The round count for the match is approximately 150 rounds.

We need your help with setup on Saturday, March 12th at 9:30 a.m. The first 10 helpers that are at the range by 9:30am when setup begins and stay until setup is complete will SHOOT THE MATCH FOR FREE the next day. (Yes, this is new!) If you can’t make it by 9:30am or can’t stay until setup is complete, we will give you a coupon worth $10 toward the match the next day. The more people that help, the earlier we can all be finished. We will also buy your lunch. You will be entered in our yearly drawing that includes a GLOCK Pistol Certificate! We will be finalizing set up on Sunday morning at 8:30 am. We would appreciate each squad helping to tear down the stage they finish on and for help with any of the stages that have no squad finish on them. Thanks very much to those of you that continue to help us each month. We know who you are and we appreciate your help!

If you can help with setup, please email Larry Turner at turnerover@comcast .net. We need to confirm enough help for setting up the match before Saturday morning. Please be aware if we can’t get enough setup help, then we can’t put on the match.

North Atlanta Action Shooters is planning on hosting a Range Officer certification seminar in an April/May time frame. If you are interested, please send an email for more information to contact@northatlantaactionshooters.org.

Don’t worry about the Super Bowl; that’s later in the day after the match is over! :)

South River December Special Classifier Match

Please join us Sunday, December 5th for our South River December USPSA Special Classifier match. 4 classifiers (CM09-04, CM09-08, CM09-12, CM09-01) plus 2 long courses. The Spec Class EF will be $20 for SRGC members and $23 for non-members. Family rates ($25) will increase by $3 for each family member. $10 to re-enter to shoot all 4 classifiers in a different division, or an individual classifier reshoot will be the normal $3. Reg @ 9am, and shooting @ 10am.

The summer heat has apparently broken now, so we’ll be running our regular hours. Registration starts at 9 a.m., shooting starts at 10 a.m.

Please join us the weekend of September 4th-5th (setup saturday, shoot sunday) for our September USPSA pistol match. There will be 5 stages designed by Larry Turner for your enjoyment plus the classifier CM 06-05 Fluffy’s Revenge 2. This match features all-classic (turtle) targets.
