Griffin Gun Club hosts a Steel Challenge match the 1st Saturday of each month. The match is open to members and non-members of GGC.

Beginning with the steel match on April 2, 2011, we have two squad times. The squads will be limited to 12 guns per squad.
Once the squads are full, shooters will be placed in the afternoon squad.
With this schedule, you should be able to complete the six stages in 3 hours.
AM squad registers at 8 am and starts shooting at 9 am
PM squad registers at 12 noon and starts shooting at 1 pm
To speed up registration, please email Glen at gwhokie@bellsouth.netafter Saturday and before Thursday of the match week with your registration information:
Names & number of guns per person in your party
Advance registrations will not be accepted until Saturday the week preceding the match.

Griffin USPSA Match June 22nd Rained Out

Due to the New Year’s Holiday, we will not be having a USPSA match at South River Gun Club on Sunday, January 2nd. Please join us on Sunday, February 6th, for our first match of the new year.

Griffin USPSA Match this Wed, Aug 26th
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009Our next USPSA shoot is this Wednesday night, Aug 26th at the Griffin Gun Club, registration is at 6pm and shooting at 6:30. We will shoot at least three stages with one classifier.

Debi Davis

Our good friend Debi Davis, who many of you know as John Golson’s lovely and cheerful wife, passed away suddenly last Tuesday afternoon. As John was on a business trip her departure was not discovered until late Wednesday /early Thursday.
John is with friends and family, and is doing as well as can be expected. To all who have already extended their offers of love and support, he wants you to know he is eternally grateful.
