The Proposed 2008 USPSA Handgun Rulebook has been posted for comment and review on USPSA.org. The period for members to offer feedback is open only until 31 Mar. After 31 Mar, the Board of Directors will meet again to consider revisions based on member feedback, and will have the 2008 rulebook finalized by 01 Jul. No further discussion will take place after that, so it is vital that you take a little time to go over this. Think of it as a, “Speak now or forever hold your piece” situation. Here’s how you can be heard:
Go to uspsa.org/rules. The first link is the Draft of Proposed 2008 Handgun Rules. The second link (and very helpful, too) is the Differences in the Proposed 2008 Handgun Rules, a list of changes between the current rulebook and these new proposed rules.
To provide your feedback on any or all of the rules at hand, go to the USPSA Forums at uspsa.org/forums. If you haven’t already registered a password, you’ll need the PIN number printed on the label of your Front Sight magazine. The USPSA forums are the only place where your voice will be heard. The BoD is not monitoring any other avenues for input including the Brian Enos Forums, so if you have anything to say, the USPSA Forums is it.
