Upcoming Schedule for South River USPSA

Please join us for our monthly USPSA match at South River Gun Club. Larry Turner has (typically) put 7 fun stages together for you.

We need your help with setup!

Larry VERY BADLY needs help with setup on the Saturday before the match, starting at 9:30am. We would really appreciate any help with setup that you could spare. In return, you will get a $5 discount on your match fees and lunch on Saturday, and after setup is done, you can spend the rest of the day shooting.

It is VERY CRITICAL that the number of people coming out to help steps up, else we won’t be able to put on as many stages in the future, and the complexity of the stages will also correspondingly go down.

If everyone who comes to shoot a South River match would come out just one time a year to help set up, we’d have more setup help than we know what to do with.

Registration begins Sunday at 9am and shooting starts at 10am or as soon as we finish final setup. (Summer hours June-September registration at 8 a.m., shooting at 9 a.m.) Anyone that could help with final setup on Sunday morning would be appreciated too! Thanks to all the shooters who helped us last month with tear down. We would appreciate your help this month. Thanks for your support!

A NOTE ABOUT PARKING AT THE MATCH
Please do not block access to our unused pits by parking your car or truck under the canopies in the pits. These pits are available to any South River member to use while our match is in progress. Please park around the range in an orderly and responsible manner so that we can all make use of the facilities. Thanks for your help!

Will you have a special qualifier in Jan. or Feb.

When will the area 6 application be out.

  3. wgnoyes says:

The annual special quallifer match will be in the summer, most likely. Area 6 stuff will be forthcoming shortly. Cindy’s working on them now. Thanks.

I live in Albuquerque but get back to Georgia every few years. Where is you range located?

  5. wgnoyes says:

You can look on the South River Gun Club page on the website, or re-examine this post, as I’ve updated it to include a link to the club’s page for directions.

  6. David says:

what is required to shoot the 3 gun match? are rules posted somewhere? match start time?

  7. Darren says:

    Hello,
When will the next multi-gun match take place? I missed the March match. Thanks for any info you can provide.

  8. wgnoyes says:

The next 3-gun match will be on July 1st, and the Georgia 3-gun Championship will be Sept 2nd. There will likely not be another USPSA Multigun match at South River until there is programmatic support for it in the USPSA’s scoring program EzWinScore.

  9. Brian K says:

I will be there tomorrow to help with setup. However, I have sold my Cobra, so the guy is coming in the morning to pick it up. I hope to be there to help you by noon.

    Thanks, see you there,
    Brian

    Is the match on June 1, 2008 a 3-gun? I hope so….
